“ This is my new favorite authentic pan mee. They served with mushroom & 薯仔菜. These are the critical elements to authentic pan mee (for me). Their soup broth is clear with little sweetness, combo with the minced pork and fried anchovies, superb!! Noodle type i guessed not hand made, by machine, but still the texture was great. Their chili version was abit dry type, but quite spicy and fragrant, i love that. Btw, they gave generous portion of mushroom, all thick in size, will definitely come back ”
“ Very tasty hakka pan mee. Their special pork mince ingredients with salted fish really bring the overall noodle umami to a different level ”
“ one of the nicest pan mee shop in BMC serving straight forward good tasting noodles without any frills. although they used to have special menus offering specialties such as braised wood ear pork, chicken feet etc on different days of the week but was stopped due to time constraint. the lady bos now barricade herself at the entrance where orders are placed and payment made. prices had increased due to the current runaway inflation but still very much affordable comparing. but the sui kow had really shrunk in size. ”
“ One of the best pan mee in the area. Price is reasonable and the noodle were freshly made. The only thing which I think overpriced and not really worth it is their dumpling. Nothing special. Meanwhile, can also try their fresh homemade brew tea. ”
“ 168 Home Made Pan Mee is a very old pan mee shop in Mahkota Cheras, one of local’s favorite. Their broth taste is not bad, not too blunt nor not too salty. Their dry pan mee is a bit sweet but still good. What stand out is in their chili, very fragrant and mix well with the pan mee especially the dry one. They pork dumpling is not bad too, very big and solid. ”
“ A good bowl of authentic Pan Mee taste. Delicious and tasty especially the broth is thick full of taste. The main ingredient in the authentic taste is because of the pan Mee leave use to make the broth. It had that distinct flavour of original authentic pan mee should be. Others shops are using spinach vegetable in their soup, which is not tasty and doesn't bring the actual taste of pan Mee. The noodles are own make at the shop, where you can see. Therefore it is very fresh . The noodles rich with egg and tangy yet smooth in the mouth. Must try their sambal brlacsn dipping sauce, flavourful with belacan and chillies yummy. Add suey kow, wantan, egg for more extended flavours. Though the suey kow is smaller in pieces. it is still very tasty. The shop has a very simple set up, but the real features is the pan Mee. Will come back to taste other types of pan Mee next time. ”
